About Me
My name is Edison. I am a medical interpreter from Anza, working primarily with neurodivergent children and the elderly in the Desert region. My background as an ESL teacher and community servant has given me valuable experience in communicating with people from various linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Outside of my professional work, I am also a recording artist, which allows me to express my creativity and connect with others through the arts. Music is a language too.
I believe our tax dollars should fund education, not endless war. We should focus on arming students with the skills required to succeed in emerging fields, ensuring that they are prepared to compete effectively in a rapidly evolving job market. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.”
As a trustee, I will advocate for the expansion of vocational training and educational services to rural communities and Native populations, ensuring that all students have access to the opportunities they need to achieve their goals.
